According to Sitemeter.com (there is a link to my statistics at the bottom of the blog), yesterday, Tuesday, March 7, 2006 experienced a record-high 29 visits and 66 page views, thanks largely in part to my good friend IP# 71.192.77.# (see the post about this mystery number here), who logged 41 page views on 8 visits to Grant's Pad...Despite the stat padding from that IP address (which I still don't know who owns), it was really a remarkable day for Grant's Pad. The 29 visits blows away the average daily visit of 10/day, and was seven more than the previous record of 22 visits on a single day. So, even without Mr. 71.192.77.#, I would have still had 21 visits (substantially less page views, though). The 21 visits would still be a record though, if all of 71.192.77.#'s visits were removed from all statistics, so there was still a legitimate large influx of traffic to Grant's Pad yesterday.
This week has seen a strong increase in day to day traffic, completely in contrast with the monthly low visit-per-day ratio of 4 that Grant's Pad saw over this past weekend. Curiously, this bull market for Grant's Pad occurred shortly after Grant's Pad's Music Player was added. Coincidence?
